January, February and March can be the best time to buy certain items. If you got a load of cash or a stash of gift cards for Christmas, here’s how to make the most of them.
For a variety of reasons, there are items that are typically discounted this quarter.
The reasons? The release of this year’s “new” model of cameras, TVs and furniture means stores need to unload last year’s model. White sales are held to deplete stock before inventory to make it an easier task and lastly, because this time in the cycle is a slow season overall.
So pay attention because there are deals to be had on these specific items:
- Cameras
- Televisions
- Paint
- Furniture
- Linens and Bedding
- Jewelry
So if you want to get a bigger bang for your buck, now is the time to be looking for these items! The best deals are usually found on the Presidents’ Day sales events.

Try an age-defying treatment at Points Acupuncture in Newfane.
Cosmetic Acupuncture for facial rejuvenation works by balancing the functioning of the body and encouraging the flow of blood and energy to the face.
Facial acupuncture is able to increase the tone of the facial muscles, pulling the skin tight to flatten wrinkles and lighten deeper lines in the face, lift droopy eyelids, the increased blood circulation in the face, improving complexion, to clear or reduce age spots, rosacea, and acne. The local insertion of needles into the superficial layers of the skin has been shown to increase collagen production in the local area providing the skin greater elasticity and a more youthful appearance.
While the many individuals can notice immediate changes after the first treatment, Cosmetic Acupuncture treatments for facial renewal are commonly offered in treatment sets to increase the quality of the results.
A typical protocol provides treatment 1-2 times per week for approximately 5-10 weeks, for 10 total treatments. Each session typically lasts 45-75 minutes. While the results can last several years, monthly maintenance visits are recommended.
For more information or to schedule your cosmetic rejuvenation contact Stacey Austin at Points Acupuncture at (716) 778-8627 or (716) 628-3802.
