Andy Twarowski motioned to make two levels of membership: Active and Associate. Dave Denny seconded the motion. The motion was adopted by the general assembly.

The next Middleport community event is the community wide yard sale the first Saturday in May.
There is a scholarship available from the Middleport Fire Department for anyone interested.

The Amy Hanssen Training Center offers riding lessons and instruction, training, leasing and boarding accommodations, summer camp, horse sales and horse shows.
The Amy Hanssen Training Center at 9063 Chestnut Ridge Rd in Middleport, NY was established in 1832.
It is currently run and operated by Amy Hanssen who is the third generation in the family to operate this farm. The farm features two of the top trainers in this region.
Both Amy Hanssen and Virginia Beaton have over 25 years experience and are both AQHA professional horseman. They are both members of several breed associations and participate in numerous riding disciplines through both instruction and competition. Let this pair help you with your riding needs for the ultimate experience.
Students learn to ride for pleasure or competition in both English and Western Riding at the Amy Hanssen Training Center and some of our riding disciplines include Working Hunter Over Fences, Equitation, Under Saddle, Showmanship and Western Pleasure classes.
