Dog Food Dos and Don’ts

When considering a food to feed your best friend, remember:

• Feed a food that has meat as the first ingrediant
• Avoid feeding a food that contains dyes. These look pretty to us but are one of the most common ingredients that lead to allergic reactions. (runny eyes, smelly ears, hot spots)
• Feed only what you dog will eat will eat in 10 minutes, then remove the dish. Try to do this twice per day. Allowing them to have food all day can lead to over weight poochies.
