When I visited the farm store at A Stroka Gene-us Alpacas, 10314 Johnson Road in Middleport this weekend, I wanted to buy one of these adorable sweaters for kids – but I have none on my list!
There were a great selection of sweaters for little boys and girls in every color made from an alpaca blend so they are just as soft and warm as they are cute. Each one is different too – they have their own designs but they are all so cute, it’s hard to pick one that you like best.
And to my amazement, these amazing sweaters are only $22! How I wished I had someone to buy one for. I settled for some reversible mittens in teal and cream and some warm boot inserts and socks made from – of course – alpaca!

It was a warm June evening, when an former co-worker invited me to dinner with some friends of his. As we attempted to dock his boat in the canal to grab dinner, my inability to toss a rope to tie up the boat still gets a smile when I boast my incredible rodeo roping skills.
