“I love a challenge,” says Woodman, like this wizard that she just completed.

Hand Knitted In The USA
Perhaps you have heard of the stores that carry only items made in the USA? Well, Woodman Farms was first to have only items made in the USA in their stock – they just didn’t have as good of a marketing firm to represent them.
But now that you can order from Woodman Farms with a phone call, things are picking up (including the phone receiver). Pictured here, sharing a nice hot cocoa at the Alternative Grounds, 17 Main Street in Middleport, are the knitted versions of Paula Deen and Guy Fiero. Paula has blue eyes and sports earrings. So does Guy, by the way. These little fuzzy critters were presented to the real two famous cooking stars at the Metropolitan Cooking Show in Washington DC earlier this year. We didn’t hear from either one of them but we are confident they LOVED them. We did hear from Giada, who ADORED her little bear from Woodman Farms and even mentioned it during a show taping. We like Giada even more than we did previously as she demonstrated not only good taste but good manners with her public thank you.

The segment on the Thursday, November 11 Channel 7 program highlighted a few of the handmade hand knitted items created by Sarah Woodman of Woodman Farms as well as some of the other items for sale at the Kenan Show.
The Kenan Holiday Gift Show is on November 19, 20 and 21. It begins Friday the 19th at 5 PM and runs until 9 PM that first day. On Saturday, the show runs from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM.
Woodman Farms will be in Room 4 upstairs at the Kenan House and will have a wide variety of knitted items including cuddly animals, storybook characters, a Nativity set, a Noah’s Ark set, other specialty knitted items, sweaters, and of course, homemade beeswax lip balms too.
